Online Registration Process via GST Portal
Visit the GST Portal
Go to gst portal and click on Services > Registration > New Registration.Fill Part A of the Application
- Select taxpayer type and state
- Enter PAN, business name, mobile number, and email
- Verify via OTP to generate a Temporary Reference Number (TRN)
Fill Part B of the Application
- Log in with TRN and complete 10 sections including business details, promoter info, place of business, goods/services, and bank details
- Upload required documents
Aadhaar Authentication
- Choose Aadhaar-based verification for faster approval
- If not opted, physical verification may be required
Submit Application
- After submission, an Application Reference Number (ARN) is generated
- Registration is typically approved within 3–10 working days
Documents Required
- PAN and Aadhaar of proprietor/directors
- Proof of business address (electricity bill, rent agreement)
- Business constitution documents (Partnership Deed, Incorporation Certificate)
- Bank account details (optional at registration stage)
- Passport-size photographs
